📅 20 October 2025 will be the day when the entire global escape room community gathers in Sofia (Bulgaria) — players, creators, enthusiasts, professionals!

At the The Purgatory venue, the best 10 teams from around the world will compete in two brand-new rooms built especially for the finals. The top players in the world will face thrilling challenges, while the audience will have the chance to watch the action live and even try out the ER Champ rooms themselves!

For fans and enthusiasts, we’ve prepared:

This year, for the first time in ER Champ history, there will also be a mini conference for the escape room industry. The program will be divided into three thematic sections:

• Inspiration – stories of boldness and innovation,

• TERPECA – a discussion about the best rooms in the world,

• Escape Room Development – how to build the future.

We are proud to highlight that our very own Nataša Potočnik (Enigmarium®, President of GIZ ER.SI) will also take the stage at the conference with her talk: 🎙️ “To Be First or To Be the Best – Why Not Both at Once?”

In her speech, she will share the story of bold ideas and pioneering projects that pushed the boundaries of what’s possible: from an escape room in a real snow igloo, to the gamification of castles and museums, to experiences without electricity and even Sensperience® – a unique blindfolded game. Nataša will show that true success lies not only in being the first, or the best, but in having the courage to dream and create again and again – even if you sometimes make mistakes along the way.
